WELCOME TO CHURCH!!! SUNDAY EDITION by Lydia J.

Morning Worship:

This is amazing grace

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus

MORE THAN ME:
The Spirit led life

( The focus is on Me )
Romans 7

15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.
17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.
18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing.
20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
22 For in my inner being I delight in God's law;
23 but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?
25 Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

( All about HIM )
Romans 8 NIV

1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,
4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.
5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;
7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.
8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Resting in the finished work of Christ.

We judge others by their actions, but we judge ourselves by our Intentions!

(((Mind blow...)))

Sin- the Human Condition.

The solution: The (Holy) Spirit of LIFE!

*Brave heart roar*

     FREEDOM!!!!!

THEREFORE -

( Ask yourself: what is it There for? )

There is now no condemnation
FOR those who are IN Christ Jesus!
For the law of the spirit of life has set me free from the law of sin and death!!

The natural law is like a mirror, it doesn't take away the grime of sin.

What the law was powerless to do,
GOD DID.

Grace worked IN us
BY the Holy Spirit!

LIFE

PEACE

JOY

Daily renewal. ;)
( Romans 12 - Bible Gateway )

Romans 7- us paddling in a boat.

Romans 8- God introduces us to Sail Boats! :D

We are called by God to raise our sails
and catch the wind!

In the tough times when nothing is going right, Rely on God. Look to Him. WALK in/with the Spirit!

Love never fails... God is Love. God loves You.
( 1 Corinthians 13 NIV )

Ending songs:

OCEANS

You've never failed, and you won't start now.

I am Yours and you are Mine.

Turn Your Eyes Upon JESUS.

The things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace.

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK!

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE:

ZECHARIAH 4:6 NIV

So he (the angel) said to me,
"This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:
NOT BY MIGHT NOR BY POWER BUT BY MY SPIRIT,"
 says the LORD Almighty.

OBSERVATIONS:

The LORD is telling his people to rebuild the temple.
Earlier, God repeatedly tells the leaders to be STRONG.
Perhaps they were low in resources,
and high in enemies?

APPLICATION:

God is saying:
I don't want you to do this alone.
Use my power, my strength!
Let me step in and help you.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,
when I come against a new challenge or overwhelming odds, help me to remember not to give up or "duke it out" on my own. May I be humble enough to rely on YOUR strength because you care for me and want to see me SUCCEED! In Jesus' name I ask these things,
AMEN.

you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord's anger.
11 The Lord will be awesome to them when he destroys
all the gods of the earth. Distant nations will bow down to him, all of them in their own lands.

Thanks for being so awesome, and kind.
Amen.

There is sweetness in following Christ.

Randy and Colene "Col" Martin have taught in the Assemblies of God's most strategic Bible School in Indonesia,  STT Satya Bhakti (SATI), which is located in Malang, East Java. Randy and  Col's main ministry focus is helping prepare men and women  fulfill God's call on their lives to full-time ministry.
Through their teaching, small groups, personal mentoring and interaction, they are influencing Indonesian Church's future leaders, church planters, and pastors,  many potential leaders from other denominations.
An increasing number of SATI graduates are involved with or are pioneering church plants to Unreached People Groups (UPGs) across the nation.

Randy and Col's input into their lives gives them an added cross cultural perspective and helps them understand the challenge of worldwide missions.

Indonesia is the 4th largest country.  A Muslim nation.
They can never be sure if they have lived well enough to enter paradise...

In Christ, we don't have to worry about our tomorrows
and Eternity. We are bought by the blood of Jesus.
Jesus purchased us from damnation by giving his life.

Luke 19: 1-10 NIV
1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.
3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. 5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. 7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a 'sinner.' " 8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount." 9 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.

Jesus changes lives one person at a time.

God has a plan and purpose for our lives.

Zacchaeus was short and hated.
People are Bios.
Sometimes we block others from seeing Jesus because we are bios about their backgrounds.

We've got to bring them in-
God will clean the Fish!!

Jesus wanted Zacchaeus to know him as Savior.

Repentance has come to this house!

Missionary Sunday!

Our Speaker today:

After serving in India for 12 years, Joseph and his wife, Laura, felt the Lord leading them to look to new fields. Their years spent in India were working primarily in the Himalayan region pioneering churches, establishing Training Centers for church planters, and opening schools and Children's Homes for at risk children. Their heart has always been to work among the least reached of our world and are now overseeing Live Dead India. Their task is to train all the new AGWM personal coming to India to prepare for a lufe of reaching the unreached of India.

JESUS:

Communion- Asking us to join HIM.

A passing of the baton!

Giving my life to bring salvation to all people.

Jesus asks: "Will you join me?"

Steven Curtis Chapman - Free

A time to remember the purpose of God!

Jesus have me life and hope. Will you give it back for others?

Bought at a price with the precious blood/death of Jesus!

You are not your own. Can't live for Self.

Remember. Remember!

That's what communion is for. ;)

We easily forget... And become  tracked.

It's important to refocus every day.

You gave your life. I give my life.

Hope. Peace. Joy.

He gave me LIFE!

Now my desire is for him.

I'm Hungry for Jesus!

There is nothing like living out your purpose!

God has always provided.

Do you trust your plans or God's plan?

When I forget about me, I focus on Jesus.

When I forget about Jesus, I focus on me.

When you remember, people LIVE. When you forget people die...

God's plans are better than ours.

What God has done in the past doesn't always prepare us for what God has for the future!

Greater things are meant to come!

Not my will...but YOURS be done.

Am I doing all I can with all I have for God's purposes?

To change lives?

He died to bring life and hope to ALL people!

By His Wounds (we are healed)

Big enough loaf for everyone -
just pass it around!

12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

Highlight key words. Rephrase if this helps you wrap your mind around the Scripture. Remember: Listen for God's quiet voice!

12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

Observe:
1# GOD HEARS
2# IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME
3# HUMBLE YOURSELF
before you seek understanding.

Apply:
DON'T GIVE UP HOPE- GOD hears!
WAIT FOR HIS WISDOM!
GOD ALWAYS RESPONDS IN some WAY.
BE HUMBLE AS YOU LOOK FOR HIS WILL.
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
Pray:
FATHER GOD,
MAY I BE HUMBLE BUT ALSO BOLD
AS I ASK WHAT DIRECTION  YOU WANT ME TO TAKE.

MORNING SERVICE SUNDAY EDITION!!! LJ 2015

I've been sick this week.
So blessed to be prayed for at church today by several compassionate people!

morning service: sunday edition!

Morning Worshp:

This is amazing grace- Phil Wickham

The blood of Jesus washes me!

Great are you Lord- All sons and daughters

BIG IDEA 💡
You have everything you need to change your world!

 Mark 2:1-10 NIV
1 A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home.
2 So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.
3 Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them.
4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
6 Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves,
7 "Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
8 Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, "Why are you thinking these things?
9 Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'?
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins-" ...

Points to ponder:

1# My: FAITH is revealed through: ACTION

2# My: FAITH can facilitate: MIRACLES
Our faith can make a difference for others

3# No: THEOLOGY required

4# The RISK has an awesome REWARD

5# God is already WORKING
"I only do what I see my father doing"

Jesus on mission: Reaching out to Social Outcasts.

Zacchaeus was rich, and probably not happy.
Nothing was going to stop him from seeing Jesus.

Luke 19:1-10 NIV

1 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy.
3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd.
4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today."
6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a 'sinner.' "
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount."
9 Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

1#Jesus was never too busy to stop for people. He was willing to interrupt his plans to care for other's needs.

2#Jesus didn't look at people the way others did.
