heart sped with anticipation. They were going to a special location
for Mother's day. Vea beamed with delight. Jasper had let her sleep
late, waking Vea up with a sweet kiss and a steaming mug of coffee.
The aroma rose to fill her nostrils with dark nutty bliss. She let
out a sigh of contentment. Lacing fingers through the handle, the mug
warmed her hands as she took a cautious sip from the brim. Jasper
smiled down at his dove tenderly.
"So, " He started, bouncing his eyebrows, "Ready for a little adventure?" Vea return her husband's grin with one of her own.

Jasper's face grew eager. He leaned forward.

my little lady, is for me to know and you to find out!"

about Chapel?"
"We'll
go to evening service.” Looking down at his watch, Jasper continued
with a wink. “It's 'oh eight hundred. Dress in something
comfortable and we'll hit the airways!"
Vea smiled at the memory. Her husband knew just what she liked. She smoothed the skirt of her sundress as she waited.
